Why I Started My Business
I help aspiring artists how to determine if a creative career is their calling, so that they can set up a firm foundation for a long, fulfilling career, tackle some of the biggest myths and stereotypes about being an "artist," and learn how to have a productive conversation with their family and friends.
This is the coaching I wish I had gotten when I was in middle school and high school. While some of my other peers (who mostly identified as white, cis-gendered boys) already seemed to know their path at an early age, it took until I graduated from college for me to commit to a creative career. I don't want YOU to waste valuable time that could be better spent honing your artistic and creative skills!
Meet Mara
I'm so excited we've met! As a kid, I was the unashamed bookworm who discovered the joys of reading books out loud to my younger cousins. That love of performing translated into theater and musical theater (and Speech Team)!
Now, I have been teaching for in-school programs, after-school theater programs, and independent workshops. I use my years of experience working on the East Coast, Midwest, and West Coast - both online and in-person.
My mission is to bring big, bold stories about young women and girls of color to life. I am a proud immigrant, Filipina-American, and creative consultant.

How do I schedule my appointment?
Upon purchasing coaching, you'll receive further instructions on how to book a time for your appointment. We allow for 1 no-show cancellation, and 1 re-booking.
Can I purchase coaching more than once?
Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, simply purchase the coaching again.
